Vice President, Trading
We combine the best two trading approaches in All Options, and if you have a good team – it’s almost the same as open-outcry.
I’ve been with All Options for almost ten years. I originally worked in open outcry and have seen many changes. But I’ve always been in market making because this is the most dynamic sector. In my role I keep track of everything regarding trading. I take control of the total position, manage the traders, and solve any problems.
I worked in office jobs, but I wanted a varied, challenging role, which really involved working with people, so it was an easy choice to change to trading.
You’ve got to be interested in the markets because when it’s slow you should still retain your focus. A good trader must be flexible, and dare to trade. The computer does most of the work, but you still need to make decisions. Compared to other market makers, the fact we have a vision, an ambition to grow, makes the difference.
